Zyrex Sky LM1211 Review

Zyrex Sky LM1211 Zyrex Sky LM1211 Review

In terms of appearance and performance, nothing special. The main attraction of Zyrex Sky LM1211 is priced at. So, this netbook can be a choice for those who have limited resources.
Zyrex who released netbok Sky LM1211 with affordable prices. This price does not include operating systems, but still makes it one of the cheapest netbooks today.
Shown with a white bandage, this netbook has a clean impression. But the risk is easy this netbook looks dirty. Still, we liked the quality of manufacture of this netbook. Plastic material used feels solid enough to receive a light collision. The back screen must be pressed quite hard if you want to affect the display screen.
When I first used it, we got confused because of difficulty finding the power button that usually exist on the keyboard. Apparently Zyrex placing a small power button near the hinge / openings netbook. Probably meant to be cool (because the button illuminates when active netbook), but we think the design is too “nyeleneh”. However, overall, the design is pretty good netbook. From the side, the design looks thin with the thickest area of ??only about 2.2 cm. Its weight was only 1 kg, making it suitable to take a trip.
Keyboard his own use chiclet design with size of 1.5 x1, 5 cm with a distance of about 3 mm between the keys. It takes time for us to adjust to such a small size. But once accustomed to, we assess the keyboard feels comfortable. Area touchpad made jagged also allows us to move the cursor to the desired point. Even if there are less the navigation button that has a smaller size (about 1.5 x1 cm), making it difficult for us to navigate as PageUp and PageDown quickly.
Netbook itself uses Intel’s Atom N455 processor (single core, 1.66 GHz). While some are using the Atom N550 netbook which has two cores, the use of Atom old series is indeed slightly reduce the attractiveness of this netbook. Fortunately it is compensated with a performance that quite rushed, at least when compared to the same class as Metsys netbook Mini PC S40. Sky Zyrex LM1211 itself can last about 3 hours while playing continuous text, which is fairly standard for today’s netbooks.

Thin
Thinness of this netbook designs can be seen from the picture above. If calculated, at the thickest point (around the battery) is only about 2.3 cm.
Too Small
